- What do you adore and miss due to the current restrictions of this pandemic? Join us in making Horsham delightful by showing us what you adore, “adoore” at a time…
We would like to encourage our residents to participate in a community wide event and decorate your doors with an assortment of pictures. Show us what you adore and miss most due to the current restrictions of this pandemic. It could be your grandparents, sports, your favorite vacation spot or even your friends from school. Decorate your door to entice neighbors to walk around the block, while practicing social distancing, and see if they may miss some of the same people, places, or activities you do.
Those that are unavailable to leave their homes can still enjoy on social media, post your front door display by using the hashtag #adoorehorsham and let’s see how Horsham residents can come together “adoore” at a time. Please hashtag your posts until the conclusion on June 4th.
This is a good idea for young kids to record history in the making, they can complete the time capsule packet and then they can put it away (in a shoebox or coffee can, etc.) for the future so they can look back on this time and remember the Pandemic of 2020. This time period is unprecedented and it might be cool for them to reopen their time capsules in 8th grade, high school, or even college?
Montgomery County has taken steps to make voting safer and more efficient. As you know, Pennsylvania law now allows voters the option to vote by absentee or mail-in ballot rather than going to their polling place on Election Day. In Montgomery County, we are making voting more efficient by providing five (5) secure drop-off boxes located throughout the county for voters to return their completed ballots and avoid postal service delays.
Drop-off completed ballots at these secure locations instead of placing them in the mail. Completed ballots must be placed in the drop-off boxes by the time the polls close at 8pm on Election Day, Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
